About my practice

My work is focussed on the link between words and stitch, the drawn together and linked nature of both, mixed with the often contrasting message of expression and words in everyday communication.

Looking at both sides of the work I hope to clearly display the difference in the stitching and the effect of the absence of words and how this relates to the different ways people present themselves and communicate with others.
